Although you can't avoid adversity, you CAN become better at dealing with life's challenges by cultivating resilience and developing the skills necessary to deal with tough times.
The program builds capacity, helping people deal with the core issues that have contributed towards their life getting off track. The program content and principles are based on our residential rehabilitation program, which have been adapted to suit a broader and less extreme set of life challenges.
The program is underpinned by a commitment to creating a safe and supportive environment, equipping people with practical skills so they're no longer just surviving but thriving.
The program is broken down into modules so you have the option of completing the full 12-week program, only choosing the topics most relevant to you, or working around your life schedule.
Topics include setting boundaries, conflict resolution, dealing with anxiety and depression, and recovering from feelings of guilt and shame.
Our day-time program has been specifically designed to cater to a wide range of people - including couples, single parents with children, people with disabilities and adolescents. We even offer on-site childcare at our premises in Hoppers Crossing.
